Who can PROVE their the best at painting FANTASY minis like; ogres, dragons, monks, barbarians, monks, goblins, etc? I'm looking for a service that can show me their work and also PROVE they're reliable and timely with their 25-28mm size commissions. |

Good luck. You're better off painting you own and you'll gain the skill as you practice. If you really want to pay good painter in the US try Stan johansen. I always got good service from him. |

I'm not certain your cage-fight approach to finding a painter who can satisfy your "Peel me a grape" aspirations is the best approach here. Aside from the "A paints well for $X per figure, but B paints even better for three times as much" aspect – are you Warren Buffett? – there's the "Guy sounds like a prima donna" tone you are hitting. I'm a good, reliable painter. So are a lot of others. There are people who paint far better than I do, and charge appropriately, for they take much longer doing so. And none of us feel inclined to work for Mister Difficult. Don't be Mister Difficult. |

I sent you some links to my work a couple weeks ago via PM. |

I would think that the award winning painters who command a premium would be your best bet. Their pricing tends to keep out the riff-raff ;-) As to timing, quality takes time. Don't expect miracles

Best is rather subjective and it does come down to what are you willing to pay for quality you desire? Here's what we do: evilbobs.biz/28mm_Galleries.html evilbobs.blogspot.com

Wow, some great stuff there. Very talented individuals. I would be afraid to put those minis next to minef or fear of mine revolting. |

Well it wasn't my intention to sound like a "Mister Difficult" or a Warren Buffet. I can see now how it may of seemed that I cam across that way. I can see by the comments though who I will be contacting. I appreciate everybody's recommendations and man you folks can paint! Talk about making a work of art! I doubt I will be able to afford the best painters since I have 350+ minis to paint.;( |

lol, sweet work, but who pays $500 USD for one model :-/ |
MonkPlayer | 15 Feb 2013 8:34 p.m. PST |
I certainly can't afford that or even $50 USD a mini! I want to thank everyone again for your comments here, and the many PMs I received. I decided to give Igor at igwargminis.com/fantasy.html a try. He is a nice guy with reasonable prices and of course talented at painting minis. |
