While looking for some additional hobbits to create a Lord of the Rings hobbit army, I wanted to see what else was out there.

Black Hat Miniatures produced a range of Halflings, slightly chubby, a good cross between realistic halflings and chubby hobbits

Copplestone halflings
Copplestone once made realistically porportioned, slightly chubby halflings. Copplestone had released two packs under his own brand that were just what your looking for (cloaks, bows,
etc). They were pulled from the web page them some time ago, but they do pop up on EBAY occassionally. Or you may consider sending Mark an e-mail and asking.

Essex miniatures makes a line of halflings, although they look more like gnomes, very chubby, with off proportions

The Figure Trader made hobbits, but is now out of business
Games Workshop produced several lines of halflings
Their Warhammer halflings had extremely large heads and were very chubby.
Their original Lord of the Rings line back in the 80s were very Bakshi-looking and chubby. Almost impossible to find.
The hobbit in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are realistically proportioned.

Wizards of the Coast made some great metal halflings for Chainmail, and there are some average prepainted plastics for D&D Miniatures as well, both realistically proportioned and highly recommended. Check ebay.
