Printing Scenario Maps with Poster Software

You've got a scenario map, and you need to create some hills. Is there some way to just print out the map in very large scale, so you can trace the outline of the hills you need to build? The Editor finds out...

Is it just me, or does the 'SS camo' shown in this army listing doesn't look like any SS camo you've seen?

Thinking he might have been trying to do this pattern?

I should add that Handbook on German Military Forces shows a similar pattern on the color plates pg 584-585.

Maybe trying for Italian camo?

Looks fine to me by that picture. Every pattern is different.

My 2 cents: there were multiple camo patterns and camo is hard to paint, so they look okay to me.

Some of it looks like he's trying to do FJ camo, but some of it looks slightly like a type of camo that's in the back of my head somehere. I'd have to pull out my books, though to try to figure it out for sure. Right off though, I agree, it doesn't look like SS camo to me. At least the common stuff.

It seems more like Heer splinter camo and a tad too bright--almost like a modern Brit. woodland camo. Just my 2 cents.

I'd be more worried that the photos are just 'samples' & you have no idea just what you are going to get in the box.

I reckon we're somewhat spoilt here on TMP in that we're regularly treated to pics of really perfect camo painting.

This certainly isn't bad at all.
I'd be happy enough to turn out camo of that standard.

What I wouldn't settle for at all is the beige skin tone.
It could be a photo issue, but if not, I'd be looking to put that right.

From the colours and the proportion of them, it looks like the Heer pattern "Tan and Water" = Sumpfmuster 1944.

Look at "German Pattern Guide" that I wrote a few years ago.

I would also say that it is an attempt at 'Tan and Water'/Sumpfmuster.

It really is a very tan camo pattern indeed.

Agree, too bright
