Found this interesting stand for IPADs in a work area: link It's intended for cooking but if I bet if you used an Ipad as a reference it would work on your painting desk too. |

You must be joking – I wouldn't put an i pad within 20 foot of my painting desk !(They are quite expensive!) |

Although that is very elegant I bought a stand for my Ipad on Amazon for £7.00 GBP including shipping

$50 USD is a whole lot to pay for a chunk of metal to prop your iPad up with. I'm not sure it's worth it. It doesn't even have a charging station built into it. |

Ha. I went to the Lego store and bought the pieces to make myself a stand out of Lego, with a ton of extra lego bits besides, for about $11. USD |

This is the one I built for my cell phone, so it's a bit smaller than you would want for a tablet, especially the back piece. And for a tablet you might want to glue the pieces together. The elastic bands are there to provide grip on the tabletop so it doesn't slide around. |

Why would you pay good money when you probably have a case/cover which does virtually the same thing? |

Well I have some plastic, 4 inch pipe around. Couple minutes with a hand saw a bit of hobby foam and I will have my iPad stand. |

You must be joking – I wouldn't put an i pad within 20 foot of my painting desk !(They are quite expensive!) Don't they have a glass front? Paint should come off pretty easily. Rich |
