Dear All,

picture

Yesterday the Project Gettysburg team met at the Hall of Heroes for our monthly ACW practice game – We play with Black Powder rules, but on this occasion adapted the excellent Antietam scenario from the Guns at Gettysburg ruleset.

Lovely looking troops there Sparker.

May I respectfully suggest they are all sent to me so as to keep them safe? ;-)

Sparker, What are the confederate flags? They look like GMB.

Sparker, really great looking game. Great AAR on your blog.

Can you tell me how many infantry regiments per side?
How many turns did you play?
How long did it take?

Thanks.

Tom

Thanks for all the feedback chaps!

Since the armies belonged to 4 players and the shop itself, I cannot be certain about the shop army flags, but the Reb flags for Troy, Bryan and myself were all from the Perry sheet included in the plastics box, mine photocopied onto paper, the other two straight from the cartridge paper sheet, as I think they will both be replacing theirs (with GMB I believe!)

How many Infantry Regiments per side – Confederate 19, Union 29.

We played out 8 turns – in 3 hours of play (Thats the beauty of Black Powder!)

Great looking game.

My confederate flags were a mix of the Perry's, downloadable ones from Warflag and purchased ones from Flags for the Lads. I have just managed to get some from Flags of War as well.
