I have always like Khurasan vehicles and after seeing the release of the M1A2s I ordered 3 plus some infanty.

I just finished the tanks in the NATO 3 color scheme to use in Europe, Asia, or Middle East scenarios.

Link to blog with lots more photos.

Overall model is very well detailed. I did have one track that was broken on the bottom due to being too thin.

Would like to see some tank crew as I had to use a BF crewman from their Vietnam range.

Optional stowage would also be great for the lazy modelers like myself that have too many miniatures on their table to spend time adding green stuff stowage.

Look forward to their HUMVEEs and stryker vehicles. I will probably even pick up some of the Cougar looking MRAP trucks. Would like to see Bradleys, russian vehicles, and chinese vehicles and troops.

Khurasan does sell stowage. And if you ask Combat Wombat they are next to free with any order.

Looks good.

Excellent job on the NATO camouflage!

Nice find. Never seen the stowage on the site before and I have many minis from them. They might work with a combination of the modern and ww2 sprues. Thanks for the input guys.

Nice work.

Great work. If you got a bad piece, you should let me know and I'll replace it. No need for it to be an "ugly." grin

On the crews, this is a brand new line for me so there's still stuff to do… like get most of it made! I'm going to send mike a tank so he can make crew in both summer and winter dress, as soon as the TUSK sets are done, which will prob be a few months.

On stowage, will have that made too, although toward the end of operations in Iraq, and in current operations in Afghanistan (the marines at least have M1A2s in A), stowage was pretty scarce on the tanks.

Next vehicle out, the Russian T90A Vladimir. BTR80 and HMMWVs getting cast. Stryker just completed design phase. T55 and Type 59 printed and awaiting casting. T-62 being designed. Sho't Kal being printed (both the Mark III and Mark V turret, both having the 105).

And more as well!

Khurasan,

you have to stop to rob me… I have just saved enought form some US… and you roll out the Vlad… then the T55/59 and T62… and that Shooooo….. Ok I am almost done with an article and your stuff is not too expensive. Will trim other expenses. Will write another article (but I need to get Burt RN Battleship for that… more money).

And while we are here so I can start to plan in advance, are you planning to have Chinese modern tank and APC in the next 4 months? I am working on a WW4 scenario with Russia attacking China and the USA helping Beijing. I got bored of the Chinese are bad approach (especially considering I have several friends from there). I will do it in 6mm for the larger actions but I am tempted to do something in 15mm. Otherwise 15mm will only involve the actions on the second front.

General suggestion, do not overdo the stowage, you see it less and less on tanks. They realized it is quite annoying because it as a tendency to start burning from non penetrating HEAT. A good picture reference is Concord's Vehicle of the Iraq Insurgency. Compare it to Concord's Thunder Run to see the massive reduction in stowage carried.

Arrigo (planning to become even poorer)

Arrigo, no plans at present to make the Chinese--as it's the 40th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War I will be focusing more on that after I get some vehicles out to fill in the modern american range.

I've got a bunch of modern Russian vehicles in development and common sense would dictate I make infantry to go with them, but I'm a little reluctant to do that.

Ok Khurasan (sooner or later I will have to learn your real name….)

It is not too bad, between the M1A2, the T-90 and the US infantry I will spend my secret allowance, guess I will try to get the T-59 for my Iraqis.

The PLA project will stay in 6mm only for the moment (also having had a breakfast with my own PLA officer I realized you need some special officer figure anyway… ahahahah…). Anyway the backstory has some fighting also in Europe so I can do with what you are producing.

The YK looks good. Are you planning to do also also IDF infantry? And IDF Magach? I know that you are an one man show but asking is inexpensive.

Look forward to the T90A, BTR, and HMMVW. Didnt mean to be an ugly :). I try to keep my reviews impartial with what I find right out of the box. Will hit you up next time I find an issue.

I am a relative newcomer to modern (post ww2) tanks. What model will the T62 be and will it be able to be used as some of the later models that are still be used today such as the T62M.
