Lovely battle! And good to see that a historical re-fight can go the other way. I forgot the details of Heraclea
was it one where Pyrrhus was not able to get his phalanxes aligned in time? Methinks I remember something about that. I'll have to re-read that latest AW article. What rules system were you using? I hope to do this one in the future. Got the Roman side nearly finished
now to start the Pyrrhic part

Yes it was that one. And that is what happened in this game which allowed the Romans to pick off one of the weaker pike blocks on its own. I was using Civitates Bellantes, which is an adaptation of Comitatus still under development. The prototype rules can be downloaded from my site at link And I have just added a few more pics to the blog |

Some nice old Corvus/Sussex Miniatures in amongst those. |

Yes there are quite a few 'oldies' Minifigs, RAFM and Ral Partha as well as Corvus. And the elephant is Hinchliffe. I would dearly like to get my hands on more Corvus figures. |

. I would be happy to get them to a nice home. Jeff jjonasartist@sbcglobal.net |
