Hi all, I currently have a 28mm Anglo Danish colection that I originally collected for WAB, I am thinking about rebasing it and am therefore looking for a little advice from anyone and everyone. If I rebase my close order foot to a 40x40mm base @4 figs to a base, open order foot to 50x50mm base @4 figures to a base and cav at 50x50mm base @2 figures to a base will I be able to play ALL the following rule sets with them :- Clash of Empires, Hail Caesar and War and Conquest. Thank you for any information

Hail Caesar certainly, although you might be better off basing your skirmishers individually. Can't speak for the other two. |

Cheers Margard, I wasn't really sure what to do about skirmishers, I was toying with the idea of doing duplicates, one set on coins (individually based) and another set on 50x50mm bases @ 2 figs per base. Thanks for responding..CH. |

You can certainly play War and Conquest with those base sizes without any issues – I do. Raglan |

Can War & Conquest be played with DBX basing? |

Clash of Empires is flexible, but it does use figure removal to denote casualties. There are ways of working around it, but I do like CoE because I individually base and use movement trays. |

Especially for 25/28mm wouldn't movement trays make more sense? They would give you flexibility to just change the trays around for different rules and leave the figures as they are. Its the path I've taken with my 28mm WAB EIR & Gauls and I'm very happy with the resulting flexibility. |

vtsaogames Yes, you can use DBx basing in War and Conquest. Raglan |

Thank you, Lord Raglan. Pity about the arm. |

I'm with nsolomon99 on this one. All my figures are singly based on metal square 2x2 bases or hexagonal ones and I use movement trays for different systems. It also gives me the possibility to use the figures for (big) 'skirmish' type rules like SAGA and Dux Brittanarium. That said if I would have to do it all over again I would use 25mm round bases. |

Hello Gentlemen, well thank you all for some good feed back, I have decided that I am going to leave them as they are on single bases and go with the different sized movement trays option, thanks for saving me a lot of boring work, CHEERS
