Took the nose off this.
to make this
The NJG4 aircraft and some of the later ones have a better scheme than boring black but this was for a particular aircraft which I finally found a reference to. I haven't looked at RLM 76 markings for this aircraft due the ongoing problems with my printer :( More on the Blog link |

You shouldn't make such good decals and then I wouldn't be tempted to put them on things ;) |

Yes he should. If I could get him to do those nice bomber, fighter, and nightfighter decals, with the aircraft codes and national insignia mixed in, I might be more inclined to actually get around to painting and finishing some aircraft minis. Separate codes for each squadron could be done, if desired, to make them more usable, but having the others together in one strip would be very helpful, since I hate putting for separate tiny transfers on each side of the plane, one at a time. That wouldn't be so bad, if they would just stay in place when adding the next one. By the time you get the fourth transfer on, it can be maddening to juggle all of them in place at once, if a little excess moisture gets on the side of the fuselage. |
