I'm pretty much done with the first version of the rules and will be spending the next week or so on stats and organisation tables. In the mean time I've put up a couple of posts about the game system itself.

Sometime soon I'd like to be able to send out some playtest copies of the rules – if anyone is genuinely interested in giving them a go and taking the time to send me some feedback please drop me and email.

I've got zilch time for playtesting, but a quick read through your post with the mechanics and it looks like a promising system! Good luck with it!

Like elsyrsyn, I can't playtest, but they do look promising. Good luck.

I agree that IGO-UGO works better for multiple players per side, but unless the turn sequence or special rules take overwatch/opportunity fire into account, you can easily end up with a game dominated by the "Alpha Strike". What Wally Simon called "Gotcha' gaming".

EDIT: I finally saw the discussion on overwatch in the blog. Too busy looking at the eye candy! grin I like the idea of burning the next activation.

I look forward to seeing more about these rules. I will send an email.

Blog still does not allow comment, by the way.

Mark,

Sent you an email as I have been involved in playtesting before.
