I have begun work on a new 28mm ironclad steamer, this time a small torpedo-boat. You can see how things have progressed here: link

less is more. Vessels of this date and size had only one or two tubes on the bow at the most with reloads strapped down on the open deck. The tubes you're using are also too modern but that a small detail. If you make reloads, fabricate torp. that are pointy on both ends. You might also rig up some tracks on the deck on which the trolly carring the reloads travel

Could you have two in the front and two in the rear?
With both guns forward and back?

I am with Mr. Disney I would go with the two torps aft and two torps on the for deck. Or save two of the torps for another scratch build and just have the two forward.
