Scenario 7 was played out tonight. RAF Mosquito NF.II with Serrate hunting a pair of Ju88C-6 which are shadowing a RCAF Halifax bomber stream. More Info on the Blog and more photos as usual link The Intruder
Game Markers for AI Fix and Visual spotting The Luftwaffe are still old Ju88 Models which will be updated in the near future
I localise a contact and was thinking about going in for the kill when it turned out to be a Halifax. The Serrate contact was in front of it just out of AI range. (In the scenario you automatically lose if you shoot down a friendly). The Umpire had a bit of a laugh guiding me onto my own bomber with some judicious placement of radar information. I was a bit keen to get the kill.
Serrate contact and AI Fix, resulting in a Kill for No.169 Sqn RAF

Sounds like fun! Thanks for sharing your pics. I especially love your Mosquito NF conversion. The nose on it looks superb. For even more fun, let the umpire use the NF radar intermittantly, like the German pilots did once they figured out they were being tracked that way, to make the game a bit more difficult. You'll probably want some sort of random die roll for turning it on and off, e.g. perhaps on only 33% – 50% of the time. |

There area a range of special rules scattered across the scenarios which can be used to increase the difficulty level of any scenario. The scenarios support the programmed learning of the rules so some rules only come into play in later scenarios. Give me a day or so and I will see what I can come up with. |
