Its probably photobucket – its dreadful.

From the thumbnails it looks great – but can't get the main photos to load.

I've just painted some figs in 10mm with this camo – it would have been great to have another source of info, 2 days ago!!

GROSSMAN23 Jan 2013 2:42 p.m. PST

Wow, How do you paint the eyes?

GrandKenyon8423 Jan 2013 3:49 p.m. PST

Cool stuff again Russ! Well Done, whats up next?

Cardinal Hawkwood23 Jan 2013 5:56 p.m. PST

well done indeed

bracken24 Jan 2013 12:28 a.m. PST

Cheers guys this ones took some finishing, I'm no fan of the cold and snow! It plays my condition up no end.
GROSSMAN, the eyes took me a long time to get right, I used to try and paint them white with a black dot in the middle, it never looked right. Now I blackened the eye socket, then with a very fine brush I paint in two very small white dots, one in each corner! I do sometimes end up repainting eyes several times before I'm happy.
Grandkenyon84, if all goes well I plan on picking up either, British Paras, GIs or some Russians? To be honest I'm not sure yet! I've still a few SS left so it may be Italian pattern next, but either way I will carry on with them
Cardinal Hawkwood, thank you, I must admit the work you do with plastics is amazing and very inspiring, and thank you for the help and info you have given me!
So thanks everyone again, cheers Russ

Excellent, i would pick Russians or GI's if I could but different SS Camo schemes always good.

Whos the manufacturer of this fallshirmjager mini?

john lacour24 Jan 2013 1:56 p.m. PST

is that 15mm? looks great!

bracken24 Jan 2013 2:32 p.m. PST

Grandkenyon84 all the WW2 stuff so far (except for the 20mm panthers) are from warlord BAM, next German figure I do will be SS and I will do Italian pattern trousers and a different camo smock scheme, so I can cover two different types at one go! It may take a little longer to complete but I will see if I've got a suitable figure left to do, and I will make a start first chance I get. I'm getting drawn towards the Russians at the moment, but that will teach me not to watch Soviet Storm and Enemy at the gates!
John lacour, he's 25/28mm. I think I may of done a head swap on him but I'm not sure, I know I did a dozen or more at one sitting. So he could be one of them!
Fred12df sorry its come a little late for you, but heck how do you paint 10mm I can only just cope with 20mm, but I've got to admit it feels outside my comfort zone.
So thanks for the feedback guys, its always welcome so cheers for now Russ

GrandKenyon8424 Jan 2013 3:17 p.m. PST

Excellent sounds good Russ, I havent heard of that movie Red Storm? any good?

bracken24 Jan 2013 10:10 p.m. PST

Grandkenyon84, soviet storm is a series on History channel, but if your looking for a good WW2 film about the Russians look out for a film called "star" or "the star" its about a recon mission in 1944 based on a true story. It's worth a watch! I like the look of the plastic Russians from warlord and it looks like you get a heck of a lot of stuff in the box!
Either way what ever I get will get a tutorial done on them!
So thanks for all the interest
Cheers Russ

VonTed26 Jan 2013 5:05 p.m. PST

Anyway to download all the pictures at once?

bracken27 Jan 2013 7:26 a.m. PST

Von Ted I'm not sure about that! I do everything on my phone so I really don't know! Sorry, other than that hope you've found it of some use!
Cheers Russ

VonTed28 Jan 2013 4:36 a.m. PST

It is pretty much the first tutorial that seems to work for me (must be my style).

My test figure came out well, now on to the rest of 'em.

bracken28 Jan 2013 12:15 p.m. PST

Excellent Von Ted glad it was of use! I must admit I'm a sucker for the BAM stuff especially the fallschirmjager and the dreaded Waffen SS. I only started out with a few figures in mind but I'm nearing the 100 figure mark and I plan on adding some armour first chance I get!

paxx8829 Jan 2013 9:37 a.m. PST

Nicely done…nice cammo and great face.

bracken29 Jan 2013 3:42 p.m. PST

Paxx88 I have enjoyed looking at your work and I am very impressed and slightly envious after seeing your napoleonics (i don't think I will ever really get to grips with them) so thank you for your kind words.

Evil Bobs Miniature Painting06 Feb 2013 8:32 a.m. PST

Very nice work!

bracken06 Feb 2013 10:55 a.m. PST

Thanks Evil Bob I've almost reached my half century with the Fallschirmjager, but I hate to say it I'm not sure what to do next! I'm very tempted with so much stuff i cant make my mind up!
