Does anybody here subscribe to D&D Insider magazine? What do you get? I can find this
link But it does not tell you any specifics. Is the adventure section full of old modules that are updated? If so, so what version of D&D? 3? 3.5? 4.0? Is it for just 4.0 or is there 3.5 articles too? We only play 3.5, so would this be useful to me? Thanks.

Most of the content is 4th Edition. In the past year it is more "agnostic" as DnDNext is in playtest. You should be able to still get to the 3.5 Archive on the WotC site, several years of content there EDIT: The subscription also gets you access to some tools, though these are mostly 4e |

From what I understand the insider magazine only supports 4.0 I watched the D&D 4.0 launch on Youtube and there was a reference about eliminating hardcopies of Dungeon magazine as well as Dragon. These were to be replaced by online content available at the WOTC website to support 4.0 rules for paying members. My group moved from 3.0 to Pathfinder. Watching games of 4.0 on Youtube had me disappointed in the play and flow of the game. it seemed more like a miniature game and less an RPG game. |

My group moved from 3.0 to Pathfinder. Watching games of 4.0 on Youtube had me disappointed in the play and flow of the game. it seemed more like a miniature game and less an RPG game. That is exactly what it is
or rather, a tactical boardgame. Interestingly enough the D&D Adventure system boardgames do it better
