I have been having a problem determining what Vallejo colors to use to paint early German Camoflauge helmet covers at Stalingrad. Can someone give me some recommendations?
Thanks

I think these are the ones I use. The green might be Reflective Green or Luftwaffe Camo Green, etc. but you get the idea.

German Camo Beige 821 – main color
Luftwaffe Camo Green 823
Flat Brown 984

Here is a suggested list from a TMP'er:

I use Green Grey 886 as the base, and German Camo Medium Brown 826 and Camo Olive Green 894 for my Heer splinter pattern camo.

I find the Camo Beige 821 looks more fitting for sumpfmuster camo than splinter camo.

From what I can tell, there also seems to be a 1938 Amoeba pattern from captured Soviet stocks.
