This is the first part of some new additions to the linked trench systems from EWM. These new models have a 12" by 9" profile and will be compatible with existing trench systems via connecting sections.
This is a British front line trench featuring 2 firing bays, with firing steps on the Parapet and 3 small shelters in the Para doe. These will come with wriggly tin roofs as standard. Traditional British trench architecture and trench design is used. Work on a connecting front line section with access to a communications trench, and the communication trench are progressing well. A German front line trench is also coming along nicely.
The concept is to continue to develop historically accurate trench systems, that offer playability, access to figures on coins, additional detailed features in white metal that can be linked and made into different trench designs as required.

4 modules linked together – sorry its a small picture

Nice looking trenches these could also be used for some future games such as Warzone for the Martian battlefields.
