I was shocked when I saw that Neil Thomas' book on 19th Century Wargaming is available on the Kindle … for $9.99 USD!

Unfortunately, it is the only book of his on the Kindle.

Shocked in a nice way I hope?

I am a bit shocked: link $9.99 USD

But in the UK: link £11.51 GBP

Even with the VAT, that is a fair old jump.

Just looked at Amazon USA and see its jumped to $18.57 USD US making it about £11.60 GBP UK. Damn they're sneeky

Nope, I still see $9.99 USD in Amazon USA. Maybe I have a cached price.

Yes, shocked in a nice way.

1) Because it was made available in digital format.
2) Because the price is 1/3rd of the hardback price.
