Continuing with my campaign of General Bonaparte's first Italian battles, I have written up a Battle of Dego scenario for our local napoleonic gaming group.
Dego was a unique battle fought over two different days with the French winning one afternoon handily, same French becoming completely unprofessional that night, then running away on the next morning, finished with again the same French successfully counter-attacking that afternoon. Poor weather (rain), French army ill discipline and lack of professional vigilance during the night, Austrian doggedness on the second day, some foolhardy assaults, the time periods between the three major battlefield periods, all rolled into one battle.
Till I have a complete AAR to post, here is the scenario information if you wish to try your game system on this interesting battle from General Bonaparte's early career.

Note: There was actually two battles fought in the Dego area by the same General Massena. The first was fought September 1794 vs. GM Oliver, Count of Wallis. The 2nd battle is covered by this scenario; General Massena vs. a trio of Austrian and Sardinian commanders.
