Back in Nov. 2011 I did up a set of cards for Russian Civil War skirmishing using the TooFatLardies Through the Mud & the Blood rules. In a year or so of regular use we scribbled extra notes on the cards, scratched some things off, and had a number of moments where we realized the cards lacked something or another. So I sat down with Inkscape and rebuilt the whole set. The nine-page PDF has cards for Red & White forces, enough for fairly large games. More details and the PDF download over on my blog: link

A belated thanks for this, with the new 3mm WWI line, I'm sort of thinking of getting into M&B as a "B project" on the cheap, like I did with 3mm Charlie Don't Surf. Are there any other notes around about units, quality, etc., or should I crib those from the TW&T WWI variant in one of the specials? |

boy wundyr x, I cribbed some stuff from the old Lardie game "Triumph of the Will" for colour and unit ideas, but mostly play stock Mud & Blood – add a flavour card or two from my deck and it feels enough like the RCW for us! AWuuu, I'd be happy to do a set of Polish cards for the Russo-Polish War! Email me: wirelizard at gmail dot com with the info and links you have, and I'll see what I can do. |
