… the next time I say, "I can code that in a weekend."

So I just spent about five hours today just getting the storyboards square for that hidden movement app. Stupid smart phones and their tiny form factor.

What hidden movement app? :) :)

Here's the thread where I talked myself into it:

@Meiczyslaw

At least you can code and have an artist. All I got is designs, designs, and more designs, with no way to bring them to fruition.

Just keep it as a hobby thing, maybe go with Kickstarter once you have a working alpha. There's no pressure on you to get it done TODAY except what you put on yourself.

Good luck, mate!

Yep, pretty much. I'd forgotten how much work a really good GUI is, and hadn't done the math on the phone screens.

Apple recommends a minimum click-able area of 44x44 pixels, so you can't actually fit a ping-pong table with a 6" grid on a phone screen, and still have selectable grid squares. That ended up being my big challenge on Friday.

(I went with a correctly-sized Scroll Area that you could zoom out of to see the whole map, but zoom in when you attempt to select areas smaller than 44x44.)
