Too bad there's nothing similar for their Federal forces. Federal Phalanx heavy gunship has been designed and is being printed as I write this.  |

Lex, that's a fairly big dropship. The Phalanx is a dedicated gunship, and it does not resemble the Cheyenne. With the preference for using toys for big ships, and the lukewarm sales of the DPLS, I'm not sure it makes sense to make a big vehicle carrier like the Cheyenne. I am making an infantry lander, however, very loosely inspired by the Starship Troopers movie dropship, though it's a ways off. A variant of that lander will be the grav monitor, with a big cannon replacing the infantry pod. By the way, Ray, as I said in Fran's thread, very nice work, and I'm sorry if I hijacked your thread. |
