Hi everyone, I traded a few figs a while back for some WW1 25-28mm figs and vehicles. I acquired this nice 28mm A7V and painted it up. I'd like to do another, but I don't know the manufacturer. It doesn't look like either Brigade or Old Glory. Any suggestions? I can't quite work how to insert an image here, so you'll have to visit my blog to see it: link Interestingly the skirting protecting the tracks on either side seems to be very different from that I've seen on other models or shown in photographs. Thanks for any help you can send me. Digger |

I'd bet on Osprey getting it wrong, the Brisbane museum has the original tank which had the original paint, all be it under layers of subsequent house paint. The tank has been pretty thoroughly examined & was measured throughout by the Germans when they built their replica A7V for the Heer museum and samples taken from the original layers. There are also photos in existance of a group of Great War costume re-enactors manning the A7V with original weapons, both inside & outside views. |

Chocolate – don't think so. Look at the skirting on my model. It goes all the way along and covers the upper portion of the tracks. But thanks, I didn't know about North Star. Digger |

I once had one that looked like that from Tony Ashcroft of NZWM. Not sure who Tony sold the master to. IIRC, it came with two options for the skirting for the tracks – one like you have, and one with just the four corners. Just checked – Tony provided the master to Brigade Games. |
