I am planning a game out of the Fallujah Book which I have just bought and have a query regarding the buidings to use, particularly the walls. Looking, for instance, at the map on page 73, I see various buildings. The buildings labelled 3 appear to have a compound wall around 1 of them (thin black line) and the other 2 buildings appear to have no wall around them individually. Also, there is also a thick black line around the group of buildings. Am I correct in my assumption about the courtyard wall around the building? If so, what is then protrayed by the heavier black line: does it depict a wall which is higher/thicker than the other walls? Are all walls assumed to more than head height thus preventing LOS and firing over them by figures at ground level, or would some be perhaps chest height thus only providing cover and blocking LOS for units hunkered down behind them? Thanks, Alan |

Alan, Was about to reply to your query on AA but saw it here. The thin black lines which 'attach' to the buildings are the courtyard walls so in your example, yes the building under the number 3 has an integral courtyard wall. The other thicker lines (which appear along streets and around some building clusters) are indeed walls- half constructed walls and walls which appeared to be 'stand alone' were very common. Courtyard walls (I think as mentioned in the terrain or breaching section) are more than head height and LOS blockers. The 'standalone' walls are intended to only provide Solid cover as you describe- I use a mix of model types and heights for flavour. I'll copy this answer over to AAG for posterity. Many thanks, Leigh |

I love the book. I also have not played any of the scenarios yet but am planning to soon. Working on making more 2 and 3 story buildings as i already have my armored bulldozer ready to go. Also need to paint up some SMAW figs. |

Joep123, loving them! All of them have about the same number of scenarios. Lots of good info, both background and game stats. The scenarios seem so far to play out well. Most books have some new rules with them too. Good pics and diagrams on how to set up your boards. I have all of them except Cold War Gone Hot and Ambush Valley. Which I will be getting soon
