Looking for the definitive list of 15mm vehicles and tanks for the Chaco War. I have seen some of the various posts here on TMP, but in reading them all I become a bit confused (and I haven't even had a beer yet today).

Who makes the proper Vickers (both the 47mm short gun turret and the twin turreted versions)? (Type B and Type A respectively)

picture

Who makes the Loyd tankette?

picture

Who makes Ford Model AA trucks?

A full list of all the above would be ideal.

Thanks!

Zveda make a Russian truck that is a knock-off of the Ford pickup truck. Nice, inexpensive model. QRF makes the Vickers, as i recall.

True North do the Lloyd carrier (UK link)

It has the pyramid shaped head covers.

Not sure about the 6 tonner, a quick scan of QRF/Skytex don't show one but I may have missed it. The ones you may see in polish ranges have obvious modifications (new engine meant raised rear deck and air intakes).

Yes the Gaz AA truck is a license build of the Ford Model A so the Zvevda kit is a godsend.

I believe True North (via Old Glory) make the Carden Loyd, in their WWII Dutch range.

I have the True North Carden Loyd. It makes a nice little model but some work was required to get it that way. For some reason one of the tracks is much larger than the other so a fair amount of filing is required.
I also thought that they had the Vickers export in the Polish range.

You'd probably get away with using a T26 model 31 for the vickers, in 15mm its virtually identical. Quality Cast, from Old Glory 15s do one, I suspect others do too.

QRF have short 47mm and twin-turret 6-tonners in their Polish range:

Minairons Miniatures is in the process to make a hard plastic early T26 with twin and single turret combination which could work for you.

I've gone with the Zveda trucks and the Minairons tanks. They are cheap, easy to assemble, and nicely detailed. The trucks I got from eBay, and the tanks directly from Minairons (great service!) I still have yet to pick up the Loyd (or Lloyd) carriers from anyone.
