I am wondering if the Wings of War Gotha V is similar in size to those sold by Shapeways?

Shapeways models come in various scales, but 1/144 is what I use in my Red Baron games. I picked up a couple of planes from Shapeways, both 1/144 scale, and they have decent detail. The real bonus, is that my Ilya Muromets heavy bomber, is light -- very light! I can mount it on a wooden dowel stick, three feet tall, at the top, without issue. I have a metal Gotha bomber, and it requires a special, heavy, oversized base, to avoid it crashing to the tabletop! Cheers!

Saw an Airfix 1/72 scale Handley-Page 0/400 bomber available from Squadron.

Yes if ordering 1/144 scale. WoW Gothas are already painted and come with a base. Shapeways quality is hit or miss 50% of mine came with major problems. WoW in my opinion is the way to go.

@Hussar123 – On those rare occasions where my Shapeways models have had major issues (2 in about 100 models so far) I've emailed them with pictures of the defects and in both cases they have immediately ordered reprints at no cost. so it pays to let them knw of you are unhappy.

While this is helpful, are they similar in size. Can you use them together?
