Well, I guess it's only a matter of time. We can't expect to remain the only superpower in space forever. Russia already has the capability of course, and after China India will also develop its own anti-satellite capability. |

No silly, since it's in space. ;-) Aviation is in the atmosphere, e.g. where the air is, using planes, jets, balloons, and such. Space is where there isn't any air. |

I have always been uncomfortable at the thought that modern troops might not train to use topo maps as intensively as we did as a benefit of GPS. Especially since the Bad Guys don't need to shoot down the GPS; they can get away with spoofing satellite signals to confuse the receiver. |
