As promised last week, I've added a page to my blog containing pictures of my Skaven/Space Marine force. Be aware that their coolness is in the conversion — the wife and I quick-painted them to the three-color standard initially, and have barely upgraded the paint.

Don't forget your Chapter Master … He's cool, but not Skaven. I'd be tempted to build a force around him with "Small World" looking troopers for the rank-and-file. Lots of round helmets.  The hard part would be doing Gyro Gearloose as the Techmarine. |

Meiczyslaw, your ideas both amuse and terrify me. :D There's a reason I don't play Warhammer/40K any more. The base models bored me, and I wanted to do odd things to them. It was just getting too expensive. I might still have the chibi Wraithguard that I sculpted out of Sculpy, though. (Sadly, I took apart the LEGO Wave Serpents.) |
