I've seen in another message they are described as either camouflaged (with the rest of the vehicle), tan (late war) or grey. Does grey mean light grey, medium grey, dark grey or field grey for these laddies? |

I've always gone with much the same colour as the vehicle – perhaps a shade lighter to give a bit of contrast. |

there would also be sun fading and the lighter shade for contrast makes the model more visually intresting |

I have just finished five Opel Blitzes with covers. The trucks I painted Middlestone and the covers; Khaki with a dry brush of Buff (all Vallejo paints). I figure the sun will bleach the cover colour and, as the previous two posters say, gives the model a bit of contrast. |

I'm going for olive grey in this case. Nice contrast. I'm adding stone grey to lighten it, as the models are 10mm. |
