I could use a single winged hussar for a WFB character.
Any suggestions please?

i second The assault Group
the horses are fairly large for historical(so would likely fit in better with GW then most historical) and the sculpting quality is second to none. the down side is that they are almost exclusively in 3-figure packs.

Be aware though, that the wing is not the hook-top(later) style.

also, try looking at Redoubt if you want the later style wing. the sculpting isn't as nice as tag, and they tend to be some of the largest historicals in the scale. the are however available single.

Both companies are in the UK

Irregular makes one in 28mm. It's in their Renaissance Section. There is even a picture……

I don't know if this link will work……

Why not take a WFB mini for a WFB character?

They are a bit hard to dig out, but…

Otherwise TAG are fine minis, and Warlord Games also made Hussars – though I assume these are smaller then there pretty oversized (for 32mm) WFB minis.

Korvessa, I have one of the GW ones (the commander with the mace, unpainted), I also have a couple extra TAG and Redoubt ones. If you are interested email me at tbeyer4562 at aol dot com.
