I'm thinking of getting a few of the Dust Tenements as a starting point to build some generic city gaming buildings. I plan on adding extra wall panels and wondered if the model is easily convertible? It looks pretty good to me although a roof would be good. Comments welcome. Here's one off Wayland's site

It looks pretty useful for several projects. I will have to try these. |

Simon, you play any systems that use true los? If so, you'll probably need to board up some windows or make some internal walls. You can use the same plasticard to make a roof. Other than that, they're pretty nice kits. |

I bought one some time ago but have done nothing with it so far. It sizes up well with my other buildings and should look decent once completed. I have the three level version which comes with some figures. I think if you divided it up internally it would be hard to play in. The layers can be hard to pull apart but that could be improved by thinning down the tabs. I will probably give it a flat roof. |

For the same sort of money you might care to consider the Italeri Berlin house. The 2 storey model can be expanded with extra floors as desired. link link |

Very nice building, but the price is astronomical. Have you considered getting foamcore sheets and making your own? |

Simon, some pics from my blog here: link I love the house, I'll be getting more of them. If you have any questions about it or want more pics, let me know, any excuse to break out the toys and the camera! ;-) |
