Apparently the roads into Wilkes Barre were not all that hot. grin

The second map should also note the canals. Those unconstitutional "Internal improvements".

I call BS, sort of…why don't they follow the Mississippi River for the journeys to Louisiana?

It's travel from New York City.
It still takes time to get to Pittsburgh.
