Looks like fun; I've been thinking of scenarios to make the play less generic too. Also, thanks for the links to the squad builder pages. Pretty cool.

Love the report I am running larger games as well. Three ship flight per player is just about perfect for convention type games. I have limited the additions that players can have to keep the overall scenario simple enough. My two sons and I have run as many as 6-8 ships each but we are well versed in the game now and most of the play is second nature.

I also agree about scenarios. Escort missions and bombing runs are two simple scenarios that can easily be addapted to X-Wing.

I have been playing around with different markers for actions as well. I am keen on flame and smoke markers for damage too.

Next step is to take my old SWMB home rules and incorporate altitude rules and adjustable flight stands for the game. I want to keep it simple but feel it is the next step in the evolution of the game.
