Thanks for posting this amazing map.
I used to live and work in Forestgate and Whitechapel areas and it is mad to see it like this. Oldford is where Stratford should be and victoria park in Hackney is massive.
No one way streets either yay.

Yes there are.

The map is from 1836 at the earliest, but London's first one-way street was imposed in 1808…

Very nice map, it is from between 1863, metropolitan Underground shown and 1899 as it fails to show Marylebone station.
