Any paint suggestions for the Sons of Horus Heresy period grey-green? It looks like kind of a German steel-grau. Cheers.

That sounds reasonable. It's one of those colo(u)rs that is going to look very different depending on your lighting, so it's a toss up. I'd recommend painting it on the light side so that it doesn't appear black/dark green in poor lighting, but I'm no expert. |

Repeat stage 4 with 20% more Dawnstone and Sotek Green 6. Wash with thinned Biel Tan Green 7. Repeat stage 6 Gold: 1. Basecoat with Runelord Brass; 2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade; 3. Highlight with Runelord Brass in striking motions to create a chipped and weathered appearance. Silver: 1. Basecoat with Leadbelcher; 2. Wash with Nuln Oil; 3. Going Sons hey Uesugi – nice one. Are you building this from Forgeworld kits and / or existing Plastric W40k stuff? And are you going to wait a bit longer to see what horus era extra bits you get with the new DA sets due out soon? Nice choice would love to see some of your models before, during and complete ;) |

Just existing plastic stuff Bro. I can barely afford those! I will prob add some FW termies and dreads. Im planning on solo gaming Istavan III at some stage so I will be collecting World Eaters as loyalists and probably a mix of legion units as traitors. I never considered Sons of H. until I received the new "Heresy" book. The pictures and history of the Sons really interested me. Being completely ADD ill probably add some Emperors Children and Death Guard at some point too (not to mention Cultists and Daemons, lol). |
