Those figures looks great, but a question, the shields size are correct?.

Yes, let me know what you'd guys like for skirmish shields. I figured these would be good as they could be painted as skins or bronze.

Their fists would have to be horizontal for a thureos, thus these should be considered skirmishers.

Those look good. I don't usually bother with command figures for skirmishers, the idea of a standard becomes superfluous for soldiers operating as a cloud of skirmishers. However you could also consider them more of a warband with the warriors advancing by themselves from the mass to skirmish, catcall and offer individual combat. Either way very tempting figures.

Probably small round ones much the same as the cavalry shields. There is some evidence for a large round elephant-hide shield for infantry, but probably not for skirmishers. I'm sending you a couple of pictures.
