So it seems like this is one of the best movies/series sett in WW1, granted not that many are made. but still, the one thing I like is the portrayel of Belgians, French and British, and Aussies, a good mix of diffrent people and cultures. |

I probably would not have watched it, had it not been right befor Monday Night Football, but I did love what I saw. I'm glad to hear that it's on Netflix. Doug |

My initial minds eyes view of World War 1 was formed by those episodes. I still remember the German cavalry-man in gas mask and on a horse in a gas mask riding to a rise in the episode with the large german attack. An iconic image for at least me. |
