The 8th provides new ways of doing army lists based on percentages rather than just numbers of units/characters. it also says it is supposed to work for old army lists. Here is the question: How do you work characters that in 6th edition took up more than one slot? For example a character that in 6th edition took up a lord and a hero slot. Where do you assign the values in 8th? Does it just go to lords, or can you split it up? Specifically thinking of Lizardmen and their expensive priests. |

I would say that if it is a lord character (takes at least one lord slot), then all the points should go from the lord allocation, regardless of any hero slots also consumed. |

what Griefbringer said. You may also take a look at the Lizardman errata for edition 8 on GWs site, and see if they kept the special rules for Lizardmen in 7th and 8th. BTW I played a couple of games of the 8th edition over the break and really liked it despite losing them all :) At least at the 1000 point level, I had a great time. KT |
