Just found this new, interesting sounding tabletop minis game on Kickstarter, Beyond the Gates of Antares by Rick Priestley (of Warhammer fame, among many other games). Seems like this might be a good spot to post some info.

The project can be found here:

It's a more traditional KS project in that you're funding a project very early in development and can play a role in shaping how the game evolves. This is not a "preorder," so-to-speak, of a game nearly ready to ship. The basic rules are largely fleshed out, and Rick Priestly is actively soliciting comments, feedback and suggestions.

The website for the game (http://www.darkspacecorp.com/) has quite a lot more information about the game itself, including background fluff, and if you're willing to dive into the forums, the game mechanics as well.

About 100 USD gets you in for a starter set of a small army, but you can get just the rulebook for considerably less. A cool aspect of the project is that you'll get to pick your army, there is no "starter set". And the stretch goals so far simply include more figures for your army.

I think we need a Crowdfunding board.

Thanks for that link, Meiczyslaw (that was hard to type…), I'm still not very familiar with where to look for what here at TMP!

You're welcome. As much as I like TMP, there can be too many boards, and the only way to keep up is to check in once a day before all the topics scroll off the front page.
