Pegasus has some 10mm modern infantry prepaints. They are on slight sale at Squadron.com right now.

Paul Gant Models does beautiful modern British Army AFV and B ech in 1/144th scale – its for railroad modellers, so a tad expensive, but quite lovely:

Pendraken have quite a nice range for Vietnam, Indochina and Falklands

The Falklands stuff is brand new sculpts, and some of the best I've seen for the scale.

Pendraken and Minifigs are more 1/144 or N gauge compatible.

Skytrex is 1/200th and aimed at classic cold war engagements. The vehicles are nice but the infantry are not so good.

Minifigs range is more modern.
Pendrakens Indochina and Vietnam ranges are quite nice/flexable.

There are various 1/144th scale modern tanks from Dragon, Takara and others available in pre-painted plastic – easy to find on eBay

Highly recommend the Indochina range
