I am an ECW novice. I will be playing with the Pike & Shotte rules by Warlord Games. I really like the Empress Armoured Cavalry miniatures but I already have enough regular cavalry for my forces. I was wondering if more experienced students of the period would render an opinion as to whether the Empress figures could pass as Cuirassiers? Thanks For King and Parliament! |

No. Cuirassiers have full or 3/4 armour. I'm sure the Empress folks will have some Cuirassier figures for us sooner or later. |

Thanks Steve do you know when we might expect to see more releases from Empress in this range? |

During the ECW, full Cuirassier units were a rarety. Sir William Waller famously fielded a unit in his Parliamentry Southern Army before they met their 'Waterloo' at Roundway Down 1643. Blues 4 |
