Looking at the play testing for APIO, they don't seem to be playing on a hex mat. Does that mean the new version is no longer uses hexed mats or am I being optimistic? |

Option for both, but non-hex seems o be the main change. |

We are testing the rules at present in order to provide a version with and a version without hexes. |

I certainly agree!!! Especially as getting decent hex mats in the UK is harder than finding the holy grail (my money is it's Swindon as that would be ironic!) |

One further question, are these rules going to be covering various fronts? I like the Italian and Russian front and I know that mostly they used French and British stuff, but I do the like the oddities as well! |
