Looking at the boxes in which iPads are packaged, the lids look like they might make pretty decent dice rolling trays. They have this softer type of cardboard which might dampen any potential bounce of the dice when rolled. Thinking about wrapping them in some gaming related outside cover and gluing some felt into the bottom.

Will send some pics of the finished product.

Nope, the app is just not the same as rolling real dice.

They make great game boxes as well for older games in not so nice boxes.
