6mm FUBAR post WW3 AAR
Haven't really shown much of my 6mm WW3 stuff, so here it goes.
A two player game.
Player one was;
French CoE (Council of Europe) with Ramjacks and Plasmablast and Brigade infantry .
And player two (me) was an American oil corporation Tex-Star international.
With the former Alder APC's with CinC infantry.

Simple game, each team had to reach a derelict tank factory before the other. Then retrieve a piece of technology (represented by the mini white dice). A squad would enter the building, search, (on a 4-6 they would find it) then carry it away to safety.

A French CoE Ramjack reaches the derelict compound and deploys its squad. With no sign of the Americans.

A second Ramjack appears and deploys a HARD squad. Meanwhile, a Tex-Star squad arrives through the East gate.

But the French are too quick, their extraction team are in and have located the target piece. While their heavy teammates deal with the Tex-Star team.

A French CoE Ramjack missile carrier slowly moves up (probably because it was failing its activations). Tex-Star bring in their air support and begin putting down suppressive fire, mainly on the French extraction squad. Plus the French HARD squad move in and engage the Tex-Star gunship with their rocket launcher just before they take on the Tex-Star squad in a rather one sided melee. Just as the Ramjack fires its Rain-piercer missile, finishing off the gunship and bringing it down in a ball of flames.

Meanwhile, Tex-Star APC's move around the left flank and try and cut off the French extraction team , who are now out in the open. But have to fight their way through two French CoE Ramjacks. It proves too difficult and the French extraction team make it to safety with the technology.

Nice. I like the Litko smoke screen at the end there. Terrain and figures look great.

That centre piece is very cool.
I had forgotten how cool it is.

Yay the CoE!
Now, what was the stolen tech?

Not really sure, never had the time to think it through.
Would had to of been something worth while. Something still in the R&D stage and then forgotten.

The one set of wargames rules that covered all genres and periods and was universally accepted as the only set you could ever need/want?

Nah, such a prize would have entailed the deployment of entire Armoured Divisions with Tactical Nuclear Backup available on request…;D
