My buddy and I played a game of LoTR using Aaron Overton's Warengine system the other day. We had a great bunch of fun recreating the Mines of Moria scenario. The cave troll was a smash! Check out the write up and photos on our blog! The highlights were that Stryder defeated the cave troll but only after the troll smashed his way into LoTR History by ensuring that Merry and Pippin never meet Treebeard and thus never defeat Saruman who he himself was then present at the final battle… link |

An entertaining game and write-up! Mary and Pippin never meet Treebeard and thus never defeat Sauron Mary??? And wasn't it Saruman that was defeated by the Ents? |
