Santa brought me my copy of AK-47 Republic today. I also got a pack or two of Generalissimo Dictator figures. One of them is seated, as if he is riding in a staff car or a stretch limo. Who makes a suitably impressive (and armored) car splendid enough for Himself? |

They will of course see double duty as Junta players. |

Papi Mpongo likes to ride around in a QRF GAZ, but then he doesn't need any armour as his juju is bullet proof:

And at the weekends he prefers his personal mini-sub:

A convertible is much more practical, and befitting of a truly brave dictator. Think of the possibilities

I have LOTS of jeeps, naturally. However, while a fine vehicle for a Man of the People, it is understandable that The People would prefer he be better protected. |

Battlefront has all sorts of open-topped cars and halftracks. SdKfz 7s and 10s, Kubelwagen/Schwimmwagen, Kfz15s, Steyr Kfz70, (nothing really good in the Italian section except the AS42), India Pattern Carriers, Cut-down 15cwt trucks, Jeeps, DUKWs, M3/M5 halftracks, M3A1 scout cars, M20 armored cars, Dodge 3/4ton, Dodge 1 1/2 ton, Laffly S20TL
I'd go for the Laffly S20TL or the Steyr 1500 Kfz70, for 'classic' vehicles. |

No armored car will stop an RPG, or plastique attached to the gas tank, so the added armor is a bit of a waste in my humble opinion. |

Start digging through the Matchbox and HotWheels. In military miniatures I'd look for one of those 3 axle German staff cars |

The other option is to hit up Hot Wheels/Matchbox for a limo, Suburban, or maybe even a stretched Hummer. |

Jorje 'El Leon' Mufasa, leader of BudWinesia has a silver 911 porche with a hot topless blond chick (preiser) as chauffer. Man knows how to live ! |

John it is really not bad for him to ride around in a jeep. Mine does and if you do not like it you an eat lead from the .50 Cal Mg it is sporting. |

Those ships would be awesome for the "admiral" of the Navy in a Junta game. |

Check out Brekina or Wiking models on Ebay, all sorts of modern types, including convertables |

I'm sorry, but anything but a black Mercedes says second class tin-pot dictator. |

Frap's President Boyo has one of these
It is a Peter Pig Merc gone topless – it is for show
he tends to switch to his M113 command centre when the bullets start flying

What was it the sons of one recent dictator used to do? One showed up in a T-55. Not to be utdonoe, the oldest took to flying around in a Mi-8, haranging people with a bullhorn. So maybe not limit yourself to what Da Boss cruises in but don't neglect his entourage or the fruits of his loins. |
