Thanks,I have been to Guangzhou(Canton) and stayed on Shamian Island,where many of the companies were located at that time(Shamian was once a British posession).Lots of the old architecture is still there,with placards on the side of the building noting which company it was at the time.I wish I could post a few of my pictures.
