I have a full unit of Privateer Press Kossite Woodsmen on my painting table, and while I don't mind the sculpts, I'd like to find an alternative to these models that fits their look. link There have to be some Easter European Historical figures with a mix of rifles and close combat weapons that would fit in with a little glue and putty. I haven't had a chance to dig through my bits box for my Mordheim/Empire Free Company pieces
but with some head swaps, they might make good alternates. Any suggestions? |

Take a look at Old Glory. They had some Cossack Wars figs that might work, and a dig through the Gothic Horror range should turn up a few good possibilities too. They're so much less expensive than GW or Privateer it isn't even funny. |

I second the Old Glory Vampire/Gothic Horror stuff. Foundry also has some nice cossack characters in their Seven Years War range. |
