Does anyone know where I can find 28 mm scale Little Bird, Black Hawk and Apache helicopters. Even a Hind would be nice.

I've got 4 of the Diecast 1/48 scale little birds. I'd sell them for $5 USD each plus shipping if you want any of them. both are the factory paint jobs, 2 are distressed black paint jobs and 2 are green with some wierd unit emblems. I would think about repainting them myself.

You can e-mail me at leidang AT mchsi DOT com if you are interested.

You can find 1/60 diecast Hinds on ebay, I bought mine earlier this year for $18 USD plus shipping from California. I think that is the perfect scale for airborne planes, although 1/48 and 1/72 can work also.

Leidang, post some pictures… I'd love to see your littlebirds

I tend to use new ray helicopters myself, with a pair of 1:48 Revel birds (a huey and a hind) I'm eventually going to build

Hallo,
Forces of Valour has Black hawk and apaches. Corgi has UH1-D.

The best store is the Luchtvaart hobby store in Alsmeerbrug close to amsterdam with ca. 4000m sales surface in modelaircraft. There you find a corner with cam 200m of prebuild 1/48 aircrafts. They have also the limited tabletop display models for the aircraft companies in 1/48.

Greetings
