I've been making some sabot bases for my Saxons for use with Dux Bellorum Details on my blog Part One Part Two Part Three Some teasers: Haven't actually played a game yet though…

Those look very nice. I have been working on the same thing so that I can use them for DB and Hail Caesar as well as skirmish games. I think that you will like DB, it is a lot of fun and keeps the players engaged with a lot of decisions.
