Like all PP Cygnar 'Arcane Tempest Gun Mages' link they look more 'Lacepulp TMP link . TMP link / Lacepunk link' than 'Steampunk'. By their effect their pistols are reminiscent of the Kraftpistole in Keyes' 'Age of Unreason' link.
The single photo available is unclear, but hopefully 1 or 2 will be female, as in the 'classic' infantry set?

Some may complain TMP link that the 'tricornes' are cut at the angles, not merely bent as historically done.
Same 'problem' with the tricornes of some pirates, e.g. with 'Pirotess like' females such as the Freebooter one:link
The same with the (author's own) illustrations of the 'Monster Blood Tattoo' series monsterbloodtattoo.blogspot.fr . dmcornish.com . daviddraws.com
Then the 'oddity' is barely noticeable when 28mm minis are seen en masse from some feet on the gaming table. (&, MBT figurines would be warmly welcome for 'Lacepulp link . link / Lacepunk' link games, btw) |

Privateer Press minis are *huge*, but are likely to be compatible with other reputedly 'larger than 30mm' figurines:

Btw, the unhistorical uniform of their 'NOT Pirates of the Caribbean' Marines
make them specially suitable for 'unconventional' troop types: Der Alte Fritz uses them for Milady de Winter's private 'Black Legion' link / link ). Eureka (Shadowforge -Laughing Monk link 'NOT Brotherhood of the Wolf'
